The diversity of society is hardly reflected in current motion pictures, television, or series. Particularly when discussing representation and equality in the film industry, it’s important to talk about access. Who’s given a voice in German films? And how accessible are the educational avenues and the doors to editorial offices, film funding, and television stations, and thus ultimately to the film industry in Germany?
