Starting from a specific initiative, this panel discussion will address the bigger picture. How can inclusivity be enabled within the German film industry? What can diversity look like in front of and behind the camera, not only among creative professionals, but especially among skilled professionals? What is the role of funding mechanisms and such topics as film education and film socialization? How can change be brought about such that German filmmaking involves greater diversity and becomes more in tune with the times?
