This coming-of-age drama featuring real street kids is part reality and part delirium, with fantastic shots of the scenery. Awarded the top prize in San Sebastián.
Young Rá and his friends Culebro, Sere, Winny, and Nano, form a tight-knit group on the streets of Medellín. One day, through a government program of restitution, Rá is given the deed to some land that had once belonged to his grandmother before she, like thousands of others, was driven away by a paramilitary group. The five boys embark on an adventurous journey into the Colombian hinterland to locate the property.
