The second cinematic adventure of Ernest and Célestine is a captivating one thanks to its adorable animation, its incomparable creativity, and its extremely clever wit.
When Ernest the bear's precious violin breaks, he and his best friend, a mouse named Célestine, decide to travel to Ernest’s distant homeland to have the violin repaired. But when they arrive, they are horrified to discover that all music has been banned there for many years — something the two can't even imagine! Assisted by a secret resistance group and a masked avenger, Ernest and Célestine do everything they can to bring back music and with it the joy of life.
Recommended for ages 5 and up.

Jean-Christophe Roger, Julien Chheng
Jean-Christophe Roger is a writer and director of animation films. After studying at Ecole nationale des Arts Décoratifs, he worked as a 2D animator at Disney, creating backgrounds and characters, before devoting himself to storyboarding and directing. He directed and co-wrote several television series such as ERNEST & CÉLESTINE: THE COLLECTION, THE NEW ADVENTURES OF LASSIE, BELPHEGOR, POTATOES AND DRAGONS and COOKING? CHILD'S PLAY, as well as feature films such as THE STORYTELLING SHOW! and ERNEST & CÉLESTINE: A TRIP TO GIBBERITIA.
Julien Chheng is an animator and director of animation films. After graduating from Gobelins school in Paris, he wrote, illustrated and invented characters for personal projects. He then worked on THE RABBI'S CAT, THE WORLDS OF RALPH; ERNEST & CELESTINE and MUNE. In 2014 he co-founded Studio La Cachette, where he produced the TV series pilots for KAIROS, THE BALLAD OF BEA AND CAD. He also worked on the artistic supervision of characters and animation for projects such as LOVE, DEATH AND ROBOTS for Netflix, which aired in 2019, and PRIMAL for Cartoon Network/Adult Swim.
