CineMerit Award-winner Barbara Sukowa and Sir Ben Kingsley as the legendary couple Gala and Salvador Dalí.

It's 1974 and Salvador Dalí and his entourage are staying at the St. Regis Hotel in New York to prepare for an exhibition and indulge in orgiastic revelry. James, an employee at the gallery, is recruited by the master to be his assistant and is given the opportunity of immersing himself in the glamorous world of art. Although James is greatly inspired by Dalí, he notices that the aging artist is surprisingly vulnerable. He is afraid of dying and, after nearly fifty years of marriage, he and his muse, Gala, are going through a rough patch.
