Logline
A rugged coastline forms the backdrop to a complex drama about guilt, repressed conflicts, and family ties.
A small Irish fishing village is defined by rigid patterns: the men go out to sea, and the women work in a factory where the catch is processed. This routine is broken, however, when one son drowns, another returns from abroad, relationships fall apart, and oysters suddenly disappear. That's when the matriarch, Aileen, who works in the factory, faces her greatest ordeal of all.
