FILMMAKERS LIVE! NEW GERMAN CINEMA: SHOCK

Bruno has lost his medical license and is now practicing illegally, no questions asked. His interest is aroused when a lawyer offers to have him treat a leukemia-stricken mafioso. This not only gets him caught between rival gangs, but also puts his old life further and further out of reach. A dangerous game begins as he straddles the line.
Denis Moschitto plays the lead role and makes his debut as a director, in collaboration with Daniel Rakete Siegel; the screenplay was also written by both of them. On the FILMMAKERS LIVE! stage, the two directors will talk about the making of SHOCK.
