INTRODUCING NETZWERK FILM & DEMOKRATIE
Far-right populism and extremism have been staging an assault on the arts: exhibitions are closed, plays are disrupted, artistic freedom is curtailed. The question of what we, the film industry, can do to counter this threat led to the founding of Netzwerk Film & Demokratie in the fall of 2020. Now this network, which currently encompasses more than 30 associations and organizations, will describe its specific projects and strategies for further collective action.
