A journey back to 19th-century Paris in a spirited update of the "cloak and dagger" film, with a kaleidoscope of actors including Roschdy Zem.
In 1887, at a time when duels are in vogue in Paris, Clément Lacaze and Marie-Rose Astié meet. He's a charismatic master of arms; she's a feminist, far ahead of her time. Clément gets caught in a spiral of violence and decides to initiate Marie-Rose in the art of dueling. The two must work together to save face. How far will they go to defend their honor?

Vincent Perez
Vincent Perez studied photography at the Centre Doret in Switzerland before being accepted to the Conservatoire Supérieur d'Art Dramatique in Geneva. He then continued his training at the Conservatoire d'Art Dramatique in Paris. As an actor, he has been courted by such directors as Patrice Chéreau (HÔTEL DE FRANCE), Jean-Paul Rappeneau (CYRANO DE BERGERAC), and Ettore Scola (LE VOYAGE DU CAPITAINE FRACASSE). Parallel to acting, Perez began directing: first, the short films L'ÉCHANGE (1992), RIEN DIRE (1999), and HIER, TU M'AS DIT DEMAIN (2000). In 2002, he directed Morgane Moré and Guillaume Depardieu in his first feature film, PEAU D'ANGE. This effort was followed six years later by SI J'ÉTAIS TOI with an international cast. 2016 saw the release of Perez's war drama ALONE IN BERLIN. He has now returned with UNE AFFAIRE D'HONNEUR.
