A hard-hitting drama from Greenland, based on a true story.

Jan is determined to leave everything behind: his home country, his painful memories, and most of all his father, who sexually abused him. With his wife and children by his side, Jan attempts a fresh start in Greenland, dreaming of finally putting down roots and becoming part of a large community. However, the past can’t be shaken off that easily.
