A world premiere: The first series by Anke Engelke and Bastian Pastewka and starring the two of them.
Maria and Ralf are in a rut: in their daily routines, in their jobs, and in their love lives. The two singles could be a perfect match, but there’s one small catch: although they live in the same small town, they’ve never met.
The screening will include the first three episodes of the series.

Meet the director
Sabine Boss, Nicolas Berse-Gilles
Nico Berse produces and directs TV shows such as ZDF Magazin Royale and MAITHINK X, which have received the German Television Award and the Grimme-Preis, as well as fictional series and documentaries.
Sabine Boss studied film and video at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). Since 2000, she has been a freelance writer and director for film, television, and theater. She is a lecturer and course director at the ZHdK’s film department.
