FIPRESCI Prize

The International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) has presented an award at FILMFEST MÜNCHEN since 2015. The FIPRESCI Prize is presented by a three-member international jury to the best film in the New German Cinema section during the Award Ceremony. The films thus honored have included the popular German comedy-drama DINKY SINKY (2016) and the drama LARA (2019), which also received the German Cinema New Talent Award that same year.
